David Berke is a retired Marine Corps officer and combat veteran. As an F/A-18 pilot he deployed twice from the USS John C Stennis in support of combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He spent three years as an Instructor Pilot at TOPGUN where he was dual qualified in the F-16 Fighting Falcon and served as the Training Officer, the senior staff pilot responsible for conduct of the TOPGUN course.
He then served as an ANGLICO Forward Air Controller supporting the Army’s 1st Armored Division during extensive urban combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq in 2006.
He was the only Marine selected to fly the F-22 Raptor and became the first operational pilot ever to fly and be qualified in the F-35B, serving as the Commanding Officer of the Marine Corps’ first F-35 squadron from 2012-2014.
He is currently the Director of Leadership Development at Echelon Front.
Terry Howell, a retired member of the U.S. Coast Guard, translated his experience to a civilian career as a Writer and Editor with Monster Worldwide, developing content marketing to engage U.S. military audiences.
Rising through increasingly senior roles, he added direct marketing, strategic alliances, and industry relations to his scope of leadership for the largest military resource website in the country.
Terry was the original creator and editor of The Military Advantage book and is well known in the military education market as having critical influence over the Post 9/11 GI Bill.
Terry is currently the Executive Director of Veterans' Legacies.
Eduardo Garza served on active duty at DIA Headquarters Washington D.C. at the Joint Intelligence Task Force - Combating Terrorism Division to transition DIA HQ 1482’s new mission from the Middle East to Southeast Asia.
In March 2007, Garza served as the first Hispanic Diversity Officer for the Office of the Chief of Naval Personnel’s Diversity Directorate (N134). He served as the primary liaison, coordinator, and communicator with military, government and civilian organizations to increase Navy outreach to the Hispanic community, affiliation groups, and organizations. His efforts catapulted the Navy’s Outreach mission to the Hispanic community by 400% in one year.
Mr. Garza is currently working for Concordia University Wisconsin as the Director of Veteran Services.
Dr. Vince Patton served as the 8th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard from May 1998 until his retirement from more than 30 years of active service in November 2002.
Among his numerous military awards includes the Distinguished Service Medal, which is the nation’s highest military peacetime recognition for performance of duty.
As the service’s top senior enlisted leader and ombudsman, he was the principal advisor to the Commandant of the Coast Guard.
He spent seven years with Military Advantage, a division of Monster Worldwide and the world’s largest military membership organization known as ‘Military.com,’ in the capacity as Director of Government Partnership & Alliances.
